Progressive id within db.anydomain.xxx
Hello again,
I'm still rovering and exploring...
I've found inconsistencies inside many if not all the
db.of_all_domaines_hosted_by_me.xxx
The progressive Id is not progressive nor written in the same way nor
updated when a change is made in the DNS settings, or at least this
is what I suspect.
For example i dig for lambmc.com and get
lambmc.com. 86400 IN SOA ns1.madga.mc. postmaster.madga.=
mc. 2001022104 21600 3600 604800 86400
but this one was updated a few days ago. Shouldn't this number
change so the DNS all around get the new info?
I think Progressive ID should follow the formant
yyyymmddNN, then why in some cases I got simply 20010529 (yyyymmdd
without NN) or even 200103 ?
Therefore I've shut down WT and edited the db.files with yyyymmdd
=current date and NN a progressive number starting with 01.
Restarted webten.
Now I'm waiting and will dig again to see if changes have been taken care of.
Is there any other WT file that need to be manually updated to
complete this process?
Do you know of any reason why I'd this problem first place?
TIA
