Re: How to disable directory listing?
I have set up a new domain on my WT (2.10) server, but the
responsible person has not yet put in the pages. When I then go to
that domain, I see a "directory listing frw www....". Is it
possible to disable this listing when the default page is not
available, resulting in a "you are not allowed to view the contents
of the directory..."?
Thank you, Christian.

Christian,
I found this (below) in my old email from last June.

I recall reading somewhere that it is possible to tweak the apache config
such that it will not give a directory listing when the default page is not
there, however I can't remember what value to tweak to set this up..
Anyone else know what it is?
Yah, in the httpd.conf file you can edit the directory info:
<Directory /path-goes-here>
Options -Indexes
</Directory>
You might have other stuff in the Directory container too, like
access stuff, so don't remove that, just make sure the Options line
has "-Indexes".
