Seeking a good comparison, either by a review house or personal, between the
two versions of OSX.
I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the extra $550 CDN for OS X server,
or if we should just go with OS X.
The only thing that I could pick out as a difference between the two, as a
webserver goes at least, was the application and hardware restart
functionality and the automatic inclusion of QTSS, which appears to be a
free download anyways, in Server. There's also the claim of "optimized for
serving" with Server, but can anyone confirm that it's actually any faster?
In either case, the platform chosen would likely be used in combination with
Tenon's iTools, or WebStar V, since most comments I've heard on OSX Servers
bundled admin features have not been positive.
What have I missed?
