Moving recently uploaded file = corrupted file

I found in the archives where WT does not completely write uploaded files to
disk immediately.

using WC 3.0.8 and WT 3.0.4 to perform a similar function and am having the
same file corruption problems.

Is there a solution for this? The post was from May of 1999.
