I've just had the same problem moving an HTTP uploaded file with Lasso & WebTen 3.0.4. It seems to be only partial corruption, as the first part of the uploaded & moved JPEG loads OK, but then it goes grey or 'scrambled' over the rest of the image.
:-(

I didn't realise it was a WT issue - I assumed it was a Lasso issue and I had a whine about it on the Lasso Talk list.

In my case, I wanted to move the file to a directory specific to a database record's ID ...
/files/xxxx/filename.jpg
.... where xxxx is the record ID. So, it was quite simple to modify the perl script to receive the record ID as an extra parameter, work out the path of the target directory and to save the file directly to it - no file moves required now.

Maybe you could do the same?

Good luck,

James Harvard

I found in the archives where WT does not completely write uploaded files to
disk immediately.
<http://listsearch.blueworld.com/webtensearch.lasso?id=63051126046>. I am
using WC 3.0.8 and WT 3.0.4 to perform a similar function and am having the
same file corruption problems.

Is there a solution for this? The post was from May of 1999.

Thanks,
