Re: FTP access changes file modified dates
I had similar problems when I had Squid Cache enabled. I didn't associate it
with FTP, but I did notice that after a while, the modification date of all
my files would read as right now. After a reboot, they'd go back to their
real times, then eventually switch back to right now.
Sound anything like your problem? The only way I could fix it was to turn
off the cache (which I assume greatly reduces the efficiency of my web
server, but at least now it works).
To see the troubleshooting I went through, do a search on this list's
