Ed,
There is a new option at Verisign where you don't have to generate a new CSR
file to renew your certificate. I just did it a few months ago. They will
renew the certificate based on the CSR file they already have on file. Then
they send you the new certificate file. All you have to do once you get it
is open your existing cert file and cut and past the new one into it.
That's all it takes.
