THe SSL certificate is tied to the domain name - which must have it's own IP
address, in other words, it cannot be virtual host, it must be name based
(tied to a specific IP address) - I think that's the right parlance.
You can of course mix and match them on a single apache server -
Now, IFIRC, the cert is also tied to the apache server which generated it - I
may be wrong here ( we do update apache on our boxen on a regular basis as RH
just uploads them along with other patches/updates) so it is not a specific
version that it's tied to, but it may be that it's tied to the
machine/server.
what I would do is ask whoever your authority is, is if you can move the cert
to a new box on the same IP and if that is OK - domain will of course be the
same.
