Another way of stating this, apparently, is "with real unix, you have the
disadvantage of having to learn a mind-crushing sh**-load of stuff in order
to get the functionality you slapped together in a few days in OS 9."

I understand that Unix opens up infinite, extremely powerful possibilities.
But I don't have a CS degree, and I don't have great deals of spare time, as
I already perform the jobs of three people (as many Mac Managers seem to
do).

I don't want to learn all the kajillion intricate details of Apache server.
I just want my web server to move to a more stable, faster, more powerful
environment.

Oh, and I know FileMaker backwards and forward, and don't know squat about
SQL. By the time I get up to speed on SQL, I'll have been fired for not
doing my real job.
