Lennie,

Like Terry said, these directories are part of the way FTP works.  I've
never seen an anonymous FTP server without them.

Login users do not see these directories.  Since WebTen does not support
this kind of user, you may want to use iTools if you want this
functionality.

Terry Allen is correct.  WebTen does not provide for Unix-style login
users.

The FTP service in WebTen can be configured to display messages before the
login prompt.  In order to do this, edit the ftpaccess file in the
WebTen:tenon:etc folder with a text editor that can handle Unix
linebreaks.

Add a line at the bottom of the file that says:

banner <path>

Replace <path> with the actual path of a file that contains the
information that you want to present before the login prompt.

Say I put a file called "README" in the WebTen folder.  The appropriate
command would be:

banner /WebTen_Folder/README
