Re: Separate access log files for virtual hosts
Running iTools 5.018.
All hosts on my box write to the same access log file.
When I change this in the Virtual host configuration panel, apache quits (or
thinks it has quit).
Then the only way I can bring it back is by rebooting the machine,
"apachectl graceful" or "stop" and then "start" don't even work.
Can anyone give me detailed instructions on properly setting separate
virtual host access log files?
thanks,
ken

We use the log splitter script. Ya, It writes all domains to the
same big log, and at 2 am cron runs the log_splitter script which
dumps the stats into a logs folder in each domain... same result...
It then tars the daily composite log and archives it.
I hope that helps.
