iTools
I have been unfortunate enough to have to deal with
Network Solutions in regards to 3 of our domains. Our
other domains (registered at register.com) were very
easy to manage. In order to get them to resolve on
our server I edited the IP address, and set up a
primary zone and virtual host on iTools, and
everything worked fine.
At Network Solutions however, they have no capacity to
do this. I have to provide DNS. I gave them
ns1.oneofmydomains.com with the corresponding IP
address. ns1.oneofmydomains.com resolves on this
server.
Now I am trying to set up iTools to handle requests
for my1.com my2.com and oneofmydomains.com, all of
which are using ns1.oneofmydomains.com as the name
server. I added ns1.oneofmydomains.com to the network
settings os OSXS and I have a primary zone set up for
oneofmydomains.com, it's host ns1. I also set up
primary zones for my1.com and my2.com with hosts
ns1.oneofmydomains.com. None of the three domains are
showing the requested pages and we are getting
timeouts.
How do I set this up?
