webmail problems

I've been having some weird webmail problems when accessing from Windoze:

"Server recieved a command from the browser it did not understand" when trying
to send mail.

When trying to access from a W2000 machine, it hangs the browser, and sets off
a runaway condition on the webmail.cgi where it starts using up all memory and
and all processor. After killing all webmail.cgi PIDs things get back to normal.

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, comments?

Thanks
