Further to my previous post with this subject, had anybody managed
to install the 5.019 update on Mac OS X Server whilst being able to
run the iTools Admin with the browser interface.
Most people have had no problems.
If the admin server is not running it is probably due to a missing
perl script (ssl.pl). It is uninstalled when you update iTools.
this is installed with the new SSL package is installed. Make sure
you install the ssl package and the ssl patch.
Well it's working now but not until after some mucking around.
First the patch didn't install because a file or directory didn't
exist so I had to copy the script into the directory it was looking
for.
Then, everything was somehow configured for port 81 so I had to edit
apache.conf a number of times before everything was up again.
It seemed to be related to squid and cache settings.
Anyway, the web admin is now running so many thanks for your help.
