htdig problems

We have problems with htdig - which worked just fine few revisions of itools
ago (when we just paly a little). Now when I have to setup effective search
engine for pretty big site (production is 150-200 htmls a day) I can't get
htdig to work. I know it is probably something with permisions (see what we
get) but we try all tricks we learned about MacOSX (and we are still more
Mac guys than UNIX guruz). Anyone could help.


Here is response

first when you try to acces index.cgi

we get no permission from Apache

then we change few settings on file nph-htdig.cgi (we make it executable by
anyone)

then

mkdir failed creating /Local/Library/WebServer/db/yoyo.acs.hr. Permission
denied on onpe: failed for Local/Library/WebServer/htdig/conf/yoyo.acs.hr No
such file or directory

What went wrong; i have feeling that previously (early ver. 6 work just
fine). We have most recent itoosl on OS X (1.2)

Not a UNIX guy
