To be clear, I have not edited manually the file. After I updated to
5.019, iTools appropriated the email server IP address (running on
another macintosh that's running QuickDNS 3.0 too). For reasons I
cant' explain (probably a bug) iTools interpeted badly the DNS
records.
I could find what's wrong if I had some technical notes. I second the
intervention on this subject. The problem was fixed in less than time
by Eric.
I continue to think iTools and the tenon team are a high level
structure in the internet community.
Neveless, the world would be better if we can get:
- some technical documentation such that we can help ourself in a lot
of problematic situations
- A clear update policy about the addons.
- Some scripts to make easy installation of certain addons
- An independence of iTools from the other packages (I'am mainly
thinking about webmail and sendmail. I could want to install sendmail
daemon without the need to install webmail)
In few words, no more hidden surprises, please!
