/Local/Library/WebServer/tenon/libexec/iTools.sh
contains all of the configuration of iTools IP addresses. If you
added a virtual host in iTools with the 1.1.1.2 IP address then
deleted it manually in the httpd.conf, this can happen.
delete the ifconfig and route lines toward the bottom of the file and reboot.
This, unfortunately, is the (only) reason we are dropping iTools and
moving to RedHat with Webmin. We had two occasions when, due to dns
lag in updating a domain, we had loss of service when our iTools box
appropriated the IP address of our main server. No warning - no hint
of what had happened.
IMHO it's just not OK to update ifconfig without some pretty clear
warnings to the user as to what is about to happen. Automatically
going out to DNS, resolving a CNAME and updating ifconfig is, I
suppose, user-friendly but in our case it was a disaster.
On the positive side Tenon tech support did help us find the problem.
But I just can't risk this happening again.
