Hi Stace,
Not to be self-serving :)
You might want to take a look at Qilan also for building a web app. It's
native OS X and can run just fine on your OS X/itools box. We recommend
Frontbase or OpenBase if you will be running a serious commercial site.
The support from these companies is worth it.
We've seen very acceptable performance on a single server with "medium"
traffic and fast cgi.
