Howdy:

On iTools v.5.x, when a user FTPs in and uploads a file it gets the
owner of "www" and the group of "ftpguest", standard stuff. They can
rename and delete files, and, I assumed this would also allow them to
alter the permissions of files they upload to their cgi-local directory.

Unfortunately, once uploading a cgi file, they can't change the
permission to make it execute.

What might be wrong, or do I have to set all their permissions for
them?

Thanks for your time and help in this matter.

Glenn
