Interchange workaround?

Is it possible to get the new version of interchange to work with the latest 
version of Itools on Mac OS X.

An ecommerce program like this one is the only thing my server is missing.  
Since it works on straight mac os x and apache, is there somebody with the 
technical know how that could figure the differences out and compensate.

I was so excited to be able to use interchange, but running Itools is more 
important.  I've been running OS X since the PB, but haven't grasped the 
underpinnings of it yet.  I'm a command line dummy, and completely ignorant of 
the syntax.  But I've got books and can't wait to learn it all (well what I 
can).  I'm ready to start doing the change from OS 9 to Mac OS X purely for the 
stability, but won't until I can recover the system from strangeness like I can 
with OS 9.
