Did anyone answer this question about FTP, users and permissions? I'm stumped as well.

I have the following 2 lines in my /etc/ftpaccess directory and just noticed
when I created a new virtual host using the iTools admin pages that the
virtual host was created root:ftpguest permissions and when I ftp'd some
html and .db files into the virtual host directory the directories and files
were permission root:ftpguest. ??

Can anyone explain why this would be happening, the virtual host directories
are all in the /Library/WebServer/WebSites/ directory and should be written
with owner 'www' group 'ftpguest' as specified below.

upload /Library/WebServer/* * yes * ftpguest 0664 dirs 0775
upload /Library/WebServer/WebSites/* * yes www ftpguest 0664 dirs 0775

Thanks for your help.

Alain
