Sendmail permissions are fairly tricky dude.
What this error is telling you is.
A. the /etc/mail/aliases file is group writable
B. One of the directories in the path to /etc/mail/aliases is group writable.
This type of problem is common after installing other software on you
mac os X box.
Make sure that the root directory is now group writable first. Then
follow the path down to you aliases
file checking each directories group writable bit.
