hello all,

New to the list so please excuse if topic already visited. Having a
problem configuring up custom access logs for virtual servers.
Environment details below. If I create a new vs all works well. If I set
the custom log path and save iTools bombs out (either won't restart
webserver or all virtual hosts disappear). Only way round is to delete
the vs or roll back on the httpd.conf file.

This not great as I know have to manually config the httpd file to do
custom logs. Am i missing something?

Also, how come I have to create a new nickname within each vs?, local
host has by some default values, in particular i'm looking to use
'combined'. Do i need to create this nick name for every vs as the local
host nicknames do not appear in the drop downs for other vs.

thanks,

dave.

Env:
osx 10.0.4 on G3.
