iTools
After updating an ancient version of iTools (July 2000) to 5.1 on MacOS X
Server 1.2 I had the problem that the 5.1 Version didn't install
immediately, so I went to 5.019 at first and then on to 5.1.
After installing 5.1 the webserver didn't come up... trying my domains
via Browser I got:
-------------------------------
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://XXXXXX/
The following error was encountered:
No Object Data
This means that:
The remote server closed the connection before sending any data.
Generated by squid/1.1.20.6@XXX
-------------------------------
Seems as if squid would have overtaken apache...
Trying to launch the admin server I noticed that my admin password didn't
work any more. Entered the password via iTools.app locally I could launch
the admin server.
Under Server Controls I get "Web Server stopped" and on the right side
"unavailable"....
Any Ideas where my apache went?
(Messages StartupLog and System Errors were empty)
Thanx for any hint
