I am slowly becoming comfortable with modifying the ftpaccess file.
Right now I have it configured so that each of my virtual hosts has their
own CGI-Executables directory and all CGIs that are uploaded are
automatically chmoded to 755 using this directive:
upload /Library/WebServer/WebSites/www.bigcitybaby.com /CGI-Executables yes
www ftpguest 0755
Here's my question. What do I need to do so that the FTP client can change
the permissions on the files (in case they need to chmod an uploaded file to
something other than 755?)
The FTP user has to be the owner of the directory.
