One way you can do this is in the virtual host container for www.domain1.com
make the document root www.domain2.com. this will redirect it.....this is what
I do when a client has several different website names for one website. for
example
I make the document root for cerritosgmc.com, cerrirospontiacbuickgmc.com,
cerritospontiac.com, cerritosbuick.com all point to the web folder
cerritosgm.com.
if I type in cerritospontiac.com it will say cerritospontiac.com in the url
field but will access the default document (index.html) in the cerritosgm.com
folder.
it works fine.
if you have both of these domains on different servers you can use redirect to
accomlpish the same thing.
