But why when I do a name server lookup from the command line does it return
the correct IP address .. ? Itools uses the same DNS servers on the machine
as the nslookup from the command line doesn't it.
Well, that depend on what name server(s) is listed in system preferences.
The other thing it does is add an interface alias for the other IP which is
a pain .. Means the machine will actually start to respond to another IP
address when it shouldn't.
That really sounds as though the iTools lookup is going to the wrong
DNS server, and incorrect info happens as a result.
