Adding a virtual host weirdness

I have just tried to add a virtual host and have a strange problem
When I do a lookup on the machine from the command line

Nslookup 'hostname'

I get my IP Address returned, when I add the virtual host in itools admin, I
get a totally different IP Address added to the iTools_admin page ?? An
address that is not even my address ??

Any ideas what may cause this ..
