I agree.  10.0.4 was quite unusable; I couldn't even see files on our ASIP 
server with it--I got Finder windows that claimed there were 0 items when there 
were really 200.  Hard to edit a file you can't see.

10.1 on the other hand is so usable that I'm in it 100% of the time nowadays.  
It simply doesn't crash.  Even builds prior to the 5G64 GM were better than 
10.0.x ever dreamed of being. 

That's why I chose to install 10.1 on our server and marry it up with iTools, 
even if iTools wasn't quite ready for 10.1.  It's simply too good.  :-)

I'm a bit confused here.  Under UNIX, aren't all users shared across the entire 
system?  In other words, I don't understand how you can add only an "FTP user". 
 Don't you need to just add a user and then adjust their permissions 
accordingly to permit FTP access?
