Squid Cache on iTools 5.1

Does anyone have any recommendations on how much Ram to set for the "cache
mem" for squid in the web admin on iTools 5.1 ?

I noticed the default was 4M. I'm running OS X Server 1.2 on a B&W G3 450
with 384Megs, the CLI utility "Top" usually tells me that I've got 270Megs
free, so I set the "cache mem" to 50M does this seem unreasonable?

Too high, or too low given my setup?

Thanks,
    Arin
