Bob,

The certs are usually combination certs with 40 and 128 bit encryption (assuming you bought a 128 bit cert which was called a domestic certificate). The SuperCert is only a 128 bit cert and leaves 40 bit users out in the cold. iTools includes SSL cipher access controls that can be used to restrict the ciphers that are allowed to connect.
Click on the "access controls" button of the ssl virtual host and choose the cipers that should be required (a complete description of the ciphers is in the manual).

Using the iTools restriction rather than buying a SuperCert just paid for the price of iTools itself.

In my experience you should always install Mac OS X on HFS+. As Doug mentioned, you will have many obscure problems with programs that just won't work correctly on UFS. You might consider formatting a data drive with UFS because of the way file names are handled.

I have a site and one of the users complained about the cert being low grade
encryption. He was using netscape 6.2, I have verified that it is occuring.
What is the reason and what can I do about it? I don't remember being asked
for a 40bit or 128bit encryption level. Or are they trying to upsell to
Verisign's "SuperCerts".

This is on a itools 5.x install on OSX server 1.2. I will be moving the site
to a new OSX/Itools 6.5 server today.

BTW what are the +/- of using a mac extended or UFS volume?
