Dear members of the list, I apologise for using the list more
intensively than usual as I'm tonight, at last, after testing for
over 6 month, finally (tring to) upgrade boldly my main production
server from MacOS X Server 1.2 + iTools 5.1 to OSXS 10.1.3 /
iTools 6.5.1. All this with PHP and MySQL. I have a hard time
discovering that most simple basic obvious tasks that worked
flawlessly with my old setup just does not with my brand new
shining latest version setup. (paid for over a year ago,
including support from Tenon)

In my previous world (see above), I could setup an FTP user
with drop access to any folder on the volume.

Now when I dare creating a user (qtadmin) whose FTP path is
'/Library/QuickTimeStreaming/Movies'
I get the same hated and now famous error:

>  Error:256 Probably a permissions or directory path problem.

Of course I chmoded 775 (even 777) and chowned to root:ftpguest
the directory '/Library/QuickTimeStreaming/Movies' as instructed
above by Alain, but no luck. It just does not work.

Any idea Boys ?

PS Sorry for my sarcastic tone of writing but I'm having a
'sore' transition evening.
PS2 For those wondering why I make so many english mistakes,
it simply because I'm one of those froggies from France ...
relocated to the kingdom of Belgium because they have better
french fries.
