Sendmail Relay Authentication Question

Subject: Sendmail Relay Authentication Question

Hello all,
I posted a message a couple days ago asking about how to allow some of
my clients to relay through my server using sendmail. I appreciate all the
feedback I got.

I realized that setting sendmail to accept a "FROM" as a type of
authentication is a pretty bad idea.

I did some searching and found this
http://mail.cc.umanitoba.ca/drac/
Dynamic Relay Authorization Control.

Its pretty much exactly what I want and would completely solve my problem.
I was attempting to set it up and it says it requires * Version 1.85,
2.x, or 3.x of the Berkeley db package. What is this and do I already have
it. It says that I need to make sure that I build DRAC using the same
version that my sendmail was built with. Since my sendmail was downloaded
from Tenon, what version was used to build it. Is there some way to find it
out?

Im pretty new to unix but im a pretty fast learner. Im pretty sure if I
could just figure out what version I need to use to build this it looks
pretty straight forward to get up and running.

Thanks in advance for any help or links to helpful resources.
