Thanks Terry,

Tenon support emailed me off list, but I'll be happy to elaborate on what's happened so far.

Tenon gave me the sudo apachectl restart command which got it back up, but only after I deleted the SSL site after going in locally through the admin server.

I am right back to where I was before attempting this transfer this morning.

I won't try this again until I figure out how to make the /etc/ssl/private folder available for me to drop in my ssl key file. Everything ran and worked until I made Itools reboot without the key in it's proper place.

I used barebones super get info program to give me the permissions on the certs folder because that wouldn't let me drop files in either until I did that.

I have now run a program that repairs to default all privileges of the

I reinstalled Itools
Still no go.
I am also unable to get the webserver in the sharing control panel to
successfully shutdown so I can restart it. It says it's running but I
can't even get local access 127.0.0.1

Hi again,
Well, I had very similar trouble to what you're having during my
configuration - I did reformat - SSL was one of the weirdest things to get
running - rebooted a number of times without any changes & it just came up
& worked.
Are you using a real IP address & connected to a router - I had the
real IP address & had it set to use 127.0.0.1 as the router address in
TCP/IP in the sys prefs panel. Once I set it to connect to the proper
router, most of my config issues disappeared.
Open up the terminal & enter
# sudo apachetcl configtest
It should return some sort of response - some of my problems with
being unable to connect to the machine were that the httpd.conf file became
corrupted & I had to manually repair it. If you do get an error, it should
tell you the line which is at fault, you'll need to navigate to the
/etc/httpd directory in the terminal & type:
# pico httpd.conf
Then, you can edit that file using the pico program & save the
file. Retype apachetcl configtest as above & if OK, type:
# apachetcl restart
        Hope this helps.
