Peter,

Try changing it in the iTools Application. It should work correctly and cause all of the realms to work correctly as well.

--Eric

No, no, no... The bug had nothing to with iTools per se. Forget about
that. What my question is about changing the admin password. Nothing
else. Changing it makes it impossible to log in using the old one _or_
the new one. What is the best course of action to take in a situation
such as this? Reinstall?

The problem seems to be that realms to which only the admin should have
access (using normal username/password authentication) do not accept
neither the old nor the new password.

Peter,

I do not know of any bug in Netscape that would give a problem changing
Users settings with the Admin Server. Do you have additional information?

Using the "Set Admin Password" feature in the iTools application should
set the password from whatever it was to the current value. We have never
seen a situation where this feature did not work.

Hope this helps,

Erik.
