Just use OSX 10.1.5, do not install OSX Server on top of it.

In principle the two are the same, only the Server version has a lot 
of other services - which run as services in the background like the 
Quick Time streaming server.

If you do not need these services, it's quicker to go with OSX 10.1.5 
instead fighting the server system to uninstall or to disable all the 
unwanted stuff.
