Weird FTP problem

Having a strange problem with FTP lately.  Namely, anything I upload to the
iTools server appears to go OK, but really everything is uploaded with a
file size of zero.  The filenames all show up in the directory I upload to,
but none of them have any content.

For the record, I'm uploading as a user with full rights to the directory in
question.  I have tried transferring both text and image files using both
ASCII and binary modes.  I even went so far as to change the FTP server from
the WU-FTP included with OS X to ProFTP.  Nothing makes a difference.  Also
for what it's worth, this happens on two other OS X machines I'm running as
well.  (I'm asking about the iTools server as this is the iTools mailing
list, but the problem isn't isolated to that machine.  :-)

Anyone else ever see this?  If so, what's the fix?  I'm not positive, but it
seems like it only started happening after the July 2002 security update
from Apple was installed.  I'm running OS X 10.1.5 with all available
updates.  Haven't had a chance to mess around with another machine without
all the updates to see where the problem is coming from.  Right now I just
need to get it fixed.  Sure has an impact on uploading files!  :-(
