iTools
Hi again,
I've had quite a few off-list emails regarding Psync since I
mentioned it in my post yesterday regarding backup prior to 10.2 install &
iTools update.
For those wondering, psync is a free utility contained in a Perl
module installation, which comes from the CPAN archive - for information &
how to install it (a pretty painless exercise), go to
http://www.dan.co.jp/cases/macosx/backup-volume.html
there is one thing missing from the page & that is that when the
install is complete, you need to type 'rehash' at the command line, which
allows you to type psync, instead of typing the complete path to the
command.
Hope this helps you all out.
Bye for now, Terry Allen
