Re: Important iTools 6.5 and Jaguar Information
Does any one know if nslookup/lookupd's stability has been improved
any in Jaguar?
And are you guys (Tenon) still working on a Linux version of iTools?
Jim,
You bring up a good point -- there may not be any compelling reason to
upgrade to Jaguar for server purposes at the moment. I am not aware of
any kernel enhancements of network stack speed or disk access. Many users
have reported an increase in user-interface speed.
Unfortunately, for those users who choose UFS to support disk quotas, UFS
speed has not improved.
The advantages of OS X Server 10.2 may be compelling. We'll look into it
and keep you updated.
