Slow admin server, DNS oddities, & broken webmail

Itools 6.5.5 on OSX Server 10.1 cache is set to "off"

Several months ago, I experienced a problem with the admin server (read:
browser control panel) not firing up after a restart of the computer. Phone
time with TTS yielded remote help inside my box and TTS said "after next
restart, all should come up as expected". Cool. I did not restart it and all
went smoothly until this past Friday when my ISP wanted to move my server to
a different cabinet and needed to shut it down.

After startup, iTools did not come up by itself. So, off to the command line
I went and started it manually.

Also noticed that after startup, webmail was broken. Initial page was served
but upon trying to log in, an error 500 message was served indicating a
script error.

Hmmm, well, I'll reinstall iTools. So I downloaded a fresh copy of 6.5.5 and
installed it. 

Now Webmail didn't work at all and in addition, wacky DNS problems to boot.

ISP engineer helped me out and we resolved the DNS problems (we think) and
today after reinstalling Webmail, it still delivers a server error message.

Here's an example of the DNS error entries in the syslogd file:

Aug 25 23:23:34 myhost named[1322]: sysquery: findns error (NXDOMAIN) on
ns.myhost.com?


Oh, and since the shutdown, move and startup, the iTools pages are serving
VERY slowly and I can't access them from the server machine itself, only
remotely.

Any ideas?
