Re: OT: Server Monitoring

Hi

We currently use Whistle Blower and have found it pretty useful. We have it
running on an internal machine that checks the dns, web and email servers we
have. We also ping external sites like Apple, Microsoft, Google etc so we
know whether our line is down or not.

On error it uses the internal modem of the machine and dials my mobile
phone. It is not capable of leaving a message but I know the number so when
it shows on my phone I know there is something wrong.
