There are two different way to approach this problem.

First, create those users as system users and make symlinks from your web site document root directory to individual user directory. When those users login via ftp they are automatically login into their folder as top level directory.

Second, create those users as iTools users, and assign them to sub directory of the web site document root directory. When they login via ftp, they will also see their own folder as top level directory.

Make sure that you applied the System updates, hope this helps.

regards,
Eric

Did I read where I have to do something special to setup homepages for my users ftp.

I want them all to be http://www.mydomain.com/members/(the folder name they chose in the request). Now I want all of them to authenticate via ftp and be multihomed into their own folders. Am I not allowed to choose a folder, any folder in the websites hierarchy, to be their top level directory?
