iTools
Hi,
I have tried to set up a new domain on my server and thought I succeeded
until now.
Every thing seems to work except the proxy. Clients using my server as proxy
can not view pages under one of our subdomains (that is located on another
server). When I compare the differences between my two domains under
DNS-settings I see that for alias www the server puts a . after the
ip-number in one of the domains but not in the other. It is impossible to
delete the dot using the web interface in iTools 6.5.7.
Why is there a dot there and how can I remove it?
Also another strange thing:
When doing nslookups on both my domains everything looks ok, but using
telnet to connect to my server's port 25 (to check that everything is ok
with my mail server) it tries to connect to my external ip (I am behind a
firewall and have set up my server as an internal DNS.) My anti virus
software also fails connecting to my server that way. How come that port 25
takes the user to another ip address then the other ports?
Thanks in advance
Peter Hampus
