iTools
Hi,
I just set up another domain on my server. In DNS settings I set up a new
primary zone the same way as my first primary zone except for start of
authority and name server where i put the the host name for my name server
from my first primary zone (hostname.domainname.com.) which is the same
server as this one.
It looks ok when I do nslookups and dig, and when I set up a new virtual
host the server automatically finds its ip number.
But when accessing the web pages I only get a directory listing (with only a
link to Parent directory). Even though I set up the path to the root folder
as /Library/WebServer/Documents where I keep the docs from my other working
site.
At first the directory listings page said it came from the wrong virtual
host, but after deleting and recreating the virtual host it now says
Apache/1.3.27 Server at www.hampusmedia.se Port 80
Can anyone give me clues to what can be wrong? I am behind a firewall and my
client computer uses this server as name server so I believe that it should
work even though the external DNS is not correct.
Thanks in advance
/Peter Hampus
