Hello list,

I sent this issue (see below) to Tenon Support but have not heard back yet.

I thought that some others may have seen the same (reproducible) behavior.
Maybe someone knows where to check 'under the hood' -- it seems like iTools
is messing up the redirects.

Thanks for any insight!

Subject: New tilde user site not accessible after creating user in iTools7

Hi,

I have encountered a problem that was not occurring the last time I created
users on our server (april 30th).

First I create a user via the Apple System Preferences Accounts pane.

I am then able to access that user's site via the tilde redirect.

e.g. http://www.dbmscan.com/~rrr (did this as a test, but it is no longer
accessible)

Next I go into the iTools7 web interface and make that user into an iTools
user (since I want them to have FTP and Access Controls).

The problem is that once I add the user via the iTools interface, the tilde
account site is no longer found (404).

This occurs with both the FTP checkbox on and off.

Deleting the iTools user does not fix the problem -- I am still unable to
see the site.

I was able to do this successfully with 20+ users/sites just two weeks ago.

I have loaded all updates except the last 2 (Q30020501, Q30020502).

Thanks for your help,

Rob
