Thanks Joe,
I thought is was that simple. I will give it a shot.
Has any one else see the logroller script fail to restart apache?
I only noticed once I got into the office in the morning to see my
web server down.

You might want to try this:
* * * * * root logroller.sh | sendmail username@xxxxxxxxxx
Just piping the cron job to sendmail with your e-mail address should
do the trick.
Joe.

I had the logroller.sh script fail to restart apache last month.
I would like to pipe the output of the script to an e-mail
notification via cron to monitor it tonight. I know how to add a
simple e-mail at the end of the script but I can't recall how to
modify my crontab file to simply echo the script output to an
e-mail address of my choosing.
