hi again,

the problem of the failt user-login seems to by the password-encryption.


if i create a new user, itools write the following line in the 
exported userlist:

username::password:SXzy0lsfDnVF.:/Library/WebServer/WebSites/www.mydomain.d
e:ftp


the correct entry must be:

username::SXzy0lsfDnVF.:SXzy0lsfDnVF.:/Library/WebServer/WebSites/www.mydom
ain.de:ftp


the workaround:


1. creating a user with itools-gui
2. export userlist
3. edit userlist with vi or pico
4. delete the new-created user with itools-gui
5. import userlist with itools-gui

now, the 'modified' user ist in the userdb with the correct 
encryption an the login works fine.


i hope, that tenon can tell my, where my problem is.
