Subject: iTools 7.0.1 Problems: Stop Serving, No Cache, No Stats

Hello Tenon guild,

My server is a freshly installed Panther upgraded to 10.2.6 on top
of which I installed iTools 7.01, Tenon PHP and Tenon MySQL.
Nothing else beside Stuffit, MS mouse and Keyb drivers.

It is a production server, I have been waiting and testing for
monthes before installing... Maybe not enough ;-)

I have 3 problems, I put all together as they may related to
eachothers. All help will be appreciated. If it is an hardware
problem let me know ASAP I can change the server.

-------------------------------------------------------------

1) Major Problem:

I have Apache randomly stoping serving on a production server.

Usually using the admin/Server Status takes minutes to load
and I can restart Web Server, sometimes I have to ssh it with
a nice /Library/Tenon/System/Scripts/WEBSERVER restart or a
harder shutdown -r now.

I have enclosed a commented extract of my error.log below
really interesting to read ;-)

-------------------------------------------------------------

2) Medium Problem:

Also I cannot enable the Accelerator Cache. I switch it to 'On'
then the Tenon Admin display the page with 'Off' again!
I have checked the rights of /Library/Tenon/WebServer/Cache
(actually I chmodded the dir to 777 with no luck)

-------------------------------------------------------------

3) Minor problem:

I cannot get the AWStats to works. All stats pages display
"Last Update : Never updated"
I have already checked the rights on :
/Library/Tenon/AdminServer/bin/Auth.pm
/Library/Tenon/AdminServer/template
It still does not work.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Below is an extract (commented) from my error log:

[Tue Jul 22 11:49:30 2003] [notice] Digest: generating secret for digest authentication ...
[Tue Jul 22 11:49:30 2003] [notice] Digest: done

Line above to show a normal server start

[Tue Jul 22 14:52:04 2003] [notice] child pid 526 exit signal Bus error (10) [Tue Jul 22 17:02:57 2003] [notice] child pid 581 exit signal Bus error (10) [Tue Jul 22 17:55:44 2003] [notice] child pid 582 exit signal Bus error (10)

What are thos Bus error (10), is that Hardware related ?
From this point Apache stop serving, until I restart it.

[Tue Jul 22 18:45:35 2003] [error] child process 525 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL
[Tue Jul 22 18:45:52 2003] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down

Running fine again. Then suddenly, same problem:

[Tue Jul 22 22:01:24 2003] [notice] child pid 489 exit signal Bus error (10) [Tue Jul 22 23:14:29 2003] [notice] child pid 530 exit signal Bus error (10)

Restart again...
