OK, so it's not somehow tied to the G4 processor family. I'm willing to risk trying it on a lowly 600 MHz G3.

Hi again, I've been running iTools 7 since about a week after it's initial release on a blue & white G3 450mHz tower which is the server model. The only thing I have seen with performance is that iTools is slightly slow to get going during boot time - apart from that, it's been running fine & hasn't needed a reboot. For your own info, I'm running 15 virtual hosts from my machine. I do have a question for Eric - when a change was made to sendmail under iTools 6.5.x, applying the change restarted sendmail - it doesn't appear to happen when you change sendmail settings under iTools 7 - I haven't checked to see if that happens under other services such as DNS etc... - could we request that this auto restart of sendmail be added to the next system update please. One final thing - a few people, who like myself had problems with applying a couple of the updates to iTools under 6.5.x, were sceptical that iTools 7 would be able to handle the updates - I can confirm that yes, it does them well, without needing a reboot. It has also done the Apple OSX updates without any problems too. Good news for all I reckon. --
