Hi,

This problem is listed in Htdig FAQ.  Here is the brief answer from the FAQ and it reference you two 3 different questions that would actually solve your problem.

The most common cause of this error is that htdig or htmerge rejected any documents that had been put in the database, leaving an empty database. You need to find out the reasons for the rejection of these documents. See questions 4.1 ,5.25 and 5.27.

If there are errors on the output, then it's easier to debug.  Sometimes redirect or none existed index page can lead to no result written to the search index.  Hope this is helpful.

I go to the ht://dig setup, do a setup and index site.

.conf file are created but nothing in the db file.  Same results that I had using 10.1 and 6.5.

This was the main reason to upgrade, ability to do indexing for search.

What is not going correctly?

Ask question if needed.
